TENCEL FABRIC, A NATURAL FABRIC: beyond 100% cotton pajamas
When making a garment, in our case pajamas, synthetic or natural fabrics can be used; The former are cheaper, but the latter are a responsible option since they are found directly in nature. The industrial processes used to obtain these fabrics are more sustainable and ecological, from which the planet and environment receive less pollution.
Natural fibers can be of plant origin (such as cotton) or animal origin (such as wool). Whatever it is, they provide numerous benefits. Men's pajamas made with this type of fabric are more hygienic and soft to the touch.
Thanks to our continuous search, the latest collection from El Búho Nocturno stands out for its production of men's pajamas made with natural fabrics. The flannel pajamas for men are made of 60% cotton and 40% tencel. Some of their benefits include thermal insulation, softness, and a more hygienic garment result.
The woven fabric is 100% plant-based, very similar to cotton. The main difference between the two lies in the fact that tencel fabric is made from recycled fibers, which makes it very attractive for making clothing if one wants to respect and care for planet Earth at the same time. It involves exclusively ecological manufacturing. As explained in El Blog de Ribes & Casals, To manufacture this woven, water is recycled during the spinning process, allowing it to be reused almost entirely.
The origin of tencel dates back to 2010 and, currently, it is the healthiest. Its fibers are extracted from the wood pulp of eucalyptus trees and invites us to enjoy many of its benefits:
- rregulates body temperature,
- It iss breathable,
- aabsorbs moisture,
- offers mmaximum softness to the touch,
- sdries faster and wrinkles less, and
- is mmore resistant than cotton.
The tencel fabric is durable. Our men's pajamas can be machine washed without losing their colors or ruining their fibers.
For this reason, El Búho Nocturno has chosen natural fibers for the men's pajamas in its Premium collection. Healthy garments designed for greater daily comfort.
